Amazon (AMZN) is suing over 1,000 people that sell fake product reviews.

The company claims that these people are breaching its terms by posting the fake reviews, reports CNNMoney.

Fiverr hasn’t said if it will comply with Amazon in the effort, but that it will take action against accounts that breach its terms. AMZN claims that many of these users post fake reviews that speak well about a product or give it five stars, CNNMoney notes.

According to CBS News, Amazon isn’t the only company that has a fake review problem. Yelp (YELP), Tripadviser (TRIP) and the App Stores for Apple (AAPL) and Google (GOOG,GOOGL) all have fake reviews. It’s estimated that roughly 15% to 20% of reviews online are fake. Doing a search online for fake reviews brings up many different people that sell fake product reviews.
