Are any grocery stores open on Christmas Day?
The quick answer is no–most grocery stores are closing their doors on December 25 this year, including Walmart (NYSE:WMT), Target (NYSE:TGT) and Dollar General (NYSE:DG).
However, Walmart will be open Christmas Eve until 8 p.m.; Target as well until 10 p.m., and Dollar General’s operations will continue until 8 p.m. on Christmas Eve.
However, a number of drug stores will open their doors on Christmas Day such as CVS (NYSE:CVS), which will be open from 10 a.m. until 8 p.m. on Dec. 25.
Rite Aid (NYSE:RAD) will be open on Christmas Day from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., and Walgreens (NASDAQ:WBA) will also open its doors from 8 a.m. until 10 p.m.
