Aerwins Technologies (NASDAQ:AWIN) stock is plummeting on Tuesday as the company’s shares are going to be delisted today!

Aerwins Technologies was sent a delisting notice from the Nasdaq Hearings Panel earlier this year about the danger of its delisting. The company failed to overcome the issues it was facing, which is resulting in shares being delisted from the Nasdaq today.

This will result in shares of AWIN stock being suspended from the Nasdaq when business opens this morning. This will see the exchange file a Form 25 with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) to remove shares from its market.

What’s Next for AWIN Stock?

Aerwins Technologies said that it’s considering strategic alternatives alongside this delisting notice. That includes the potential sale or a joint venture to continue its operations.

As a part of that, Aerwins expects shares to be listed on an alternative trading market after today’s delisting. The company hasn’t provided further details about what market this will be.

AWIN stock is down 53.9% as of Tuesday morning. The stock was also down 77.3% since the start of the year when markets closed yesterday.
