Dish Network (DISH) subscribers can still watch CBS (CBS) shows, such as Big Bang Theory, while talks are happening.

dish-cbsDish and CBS have continued talks that started after the contract between the two expired on Nov. 20. There have already been two extensions to the contract and CBS threatened a blackout of its channel if an agreement wasn’t made by Thursday, reports Reuters.

The extended agreement between Dish and CBS not only extends to the CBS channel, but also its Sports Cable channel. The issue at hand is that CBS wants to charge higher retransmission fees and Dish doesn’t want to pay the increased price, Reuters notes.

This isn’t the first time that CBS has been in conflict over retransmission fees. Last year the company got into a tussle with Time Warner Cable (TWC) that caused subscribers to experience blackouts.

CBS shares were up 1% as of Noon Friday and DISH shares were up slightly.
