Here are your Apple Rumors for today:

Apple Rumors, iPhone 7 Codenames, AAPLPay: Apple (AAPL) Pay has been expanded to include France, reports MacRumors. The expansion makes France the eighth country to receive support for Pay. Those living in France can use the service if they have a Mastercard Inc (NYSE:MA) or Visa Inc (NYSE:V) credit or debit card through Banque Populaire, Carrefour Banque, Caisse d’Epargne or Ticket Restaurant. The service works with any contactless payment terminal in the country and with several retailers.

Codenames: A set of codenames for the upcoming iPhone 7 smartphones have been leaked, 9to5Mac notes. The alleged codenames for the iPhone 7 models coming out later this year are “Sonora” and “Dos Palos.” Evan Blass, the source of the leak, claims that there will only be two iPhone 7 devices released this Fall. This counteracts some Apple rumors that have claimed there will be a third model, rumored to be an iPhone 7 Pro, launching alongside the iPhone 7 and 7 Plus.

Haptic: Apple has filed a patent for a new haptic system, reports AppleInsider. The patent reveals details about a new haptic system that would be able to give specific responses on vertical and horizontal axes. This would require two haptic motors that would be connected via a central control processor. The two motors would also be able to switch their tasks depending on how a person holds their device. The patent mentions use in mobile technology, which could hint at a future in the iPhone or Watch.
