Apple Rumors, iOS 9.1.2 Update, Error 53, AAPLFBI: More tech companies are coming out to support Apple’s (AAPL) stance against the FBI, reports MacRumors. Facebook Inc (FB) and Twitter Inc (TWTR) are now included in the list of companies that are taking a stand against the FBI with AAPL. Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey threw his support in with the tech company through a Tweet and Facebook released a statement saying it wouldn’t give in to demands from the government to weaken security. Alphabet Inc’s (GOOG,GOOGL) Google has also said it supports Apple in its fight to protect digital privacy.

Error: Apple has updated iOS 9.2.1 to fix the Error 53 message that some users have been getting, reports 9to5Mac. The update is available through iTunes and it will allow owners of devices that have been bricked by the Error 53 message to use their smartphones again. Error 53 is a message that appears on devices with Touch ID that have had that component repaired by a third party. It was designed to protect user information, but has turned into a hassle for the tech company.

iPhone: A new rumor claims that three companies are preparing for iPhone 7 production. According to this rumor, Cirrus Logic, Inc. (CRUS) and Analog Devices, Inc. (ADI) have both told foundries and service providers to prepare for a large production during the third and fourth quarters of the year. Taiwan Semiconductor Mfg. Co. Ltd. (ADR) (TSM) is also reportedly expanding its facilities to create a processor that would be more powerful than the A9. All of these companies are rumored to be suppliers for parts of the iPhone 7.
