Okta (NASDAQ:OKTA) stock is slipping on Monday as the cyber identity company deals with a security breach.

The company acknowledged the data breach in a blog post by Chief Security Officer David Bradbury. According to the post, the hacker was able to view documents connected to recent support cases.

Okta notes that the hacker did not gain access to its production Okta service or its Auth0/CIC case management system. The company also notes that it has already informed affected individuals about the hack. If a customer hasn’t been contacted by Okta, then their information wasn’t compromised.

The information stolen by the hacker comes from the HTTP Archive (HAR) files Okta requests for its support tickets. These can include sensitive information, such as cookies and session tokens. This could allow the hacker to impersonate an individual online. Okta has revoked embedded session tokens to avoid this issue.

Bradbury said the following in the blog post:

“Okta recommends sanitizing all credentials and cookies/session tokens within a HAR file before sharing it […] Attacks such as this highlight the importance of remaining vigilant and being on the lookout for suspicious activity.”
