Ruth Porat, who will be taking over as Google’s (NASDAQ:GOOG,NASDAQ:GOOGL) new CFO, will get a $70-million pay package for switching to the tech company.
Ruth Porat’s pay package will be made up of restricted stock and bonuses. After serving as the Google CFO for seven months, she could earns as much as $30 million. This is quite an increase over the $10.1 million she made as Morgan Stanley’s (NYSE:MS) CFO in 2013, reports The Wall Street Journal.
Ruth Porat will receive a $5 million sign-on bonus for switching to Google. She also has an annual salary set at $650,000 a year. She will officially start her role as Google CFO on May 26, WSJ notes.
New Google CFO Ruth Porat has also served as the head banker for Amazon (NASDAQ:AMZN), Priceline(NASDAQ:PCLN) and Netscape.
