Facebook (NASDAQ:FB) has launched a new feature that allows users to put stickers on their photos.
The new Facebook feature is available for use on the company’s apps for Google’s (NASDAQ:GOOG,NASDAQ:GOOGL) Android and Apple’s (NASDAQ:AAPL) iOS. users that want to give the new feature a test run simply have to update their apps. The stickers can only be added to new photos being uploaded to the service, reports TechCrunch.
The new stickers feature for the Facebook app includes a small icon when posting photos. Clicking this icon will bring up a selection of stickers that can be added to the image. Users can rotate, resize and move the stickers around before adding them to the image, reports Engadget.
The addition of stickers to the Facebook app isn’t the company’s first effort with adding them to images. It also recently released a Stickers app that gave users the ability to add stickers to photos being sent through its Messenger app, TechCrunch notes.
