Are any grocery stores open on Christmas Day?

Grocery Stores Open on ChristmasThe quick answer is no–most grocery stores are closing their doors on December 25 this year, including Walmart (NYSE:WMT), Target (NYSE:TGT) and Dollar General (NYSE:DG).

However, Walmart will be open Christmas Eve until 8 p.m.; Target as well until 10 p.m., and Dollar General’s operations will continue until 8 p.m. on Christmas Eve.

However, a number of drug stores will open their doors on Christmas Day such as CVS (NYSE:CVS), which will be open from 10 a.m. until 8 p.m. on Dec. 25.

Rite Aid (NYSE:RAD) will be open on Christmas Day from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., and Walgreens (NASDAQ:WBA) will also open its doors from 8 a.m. until 10 p.m.
