Nvidia (NASDAQ:NVDA) stock fans will want to keep an eye on the tech company when June 2 rolls around for a potential catalyst for the shares.
That’s when CEO Jensen Huang will deliver the keynote address prior to the launch of COMPUTEX 2024. This is a major event taking place at the Taipei Nangang Exhibition Center from June 3 to June 6.
The Nvidia CEO’s keynote will take place one day before this and will be held at the National Taiwan University Sports Center. A livestream of the keynote address will start at 7:00 a.m. Eastern on June 2.
As for the topic of the keynote, Huang intends to cover the next developments for the artificial intelligence (AI) ecosystem. The company will follow up on this at the Nvidia AI Summit at the Grand Hilai Taipei on June 5.
What to Expect from NVDA Stock
Considering the topic of AI and the keynote presentation being hosted by Huang, it’s likely this will be a catalyst for NVDA shares. This could result in the event sending the company’s stock higher as the news gets investors excited about the future of AI.
For right now, NVDA stock is down 1.5% as of Thursday afternoon. Even so, the shares are still up 84.9% since the start of the year.
