The tech giant recently restated its commitment to improve its customers’ health with products such as the Band and Band 2. However, these fitness trackers are no longer as the company removed them from its online store.

The software developer kit for the Microsoft Band has also been removed as it would be futile now. The Best Buy Co Inc (NYSE:BBY) website has taken the product down as well.

You can still buy the Band on Amazon.com, Inc. (NASDAQ:AMZN) as the e-commerce retailer is selling the remainder of its stocked fitness trackers. The reason behind eliminating the device is related to how awkward and glitchy the gadget was.

The Microsoft Band 2 was an improved version of its predecessor as it was equipped with additional features, but it carried many of the same problems as the original, leaving the company in the dust when compared to rivals such as Fitbit Inc (NYSE:FIT).

Microsoft Band is also the name of the company’s smartphone health app, and that product is still available to consumers.

Microsoft recently teamed up with Adobe Systems Incorporated (NASDAQ:ADBE) to launch cloud functionalities designed to improve the business of its customers. Adobe’s Marketing Cloud product will be used by Microsoft in 365 Enterprise edition.

MSFT stock is down 0.6%.
