Among the 100 celebrities, athletes and business giants, the publication highlighted 13 “Titans,” including the world’s highest religious authority figure.
Here are the 13 titans that made the list:
- Priscilla Chan and Mark Zuckerberg: The Facebook (NASDAQ:FB) CEO and his wife have helped connect people across the world for over a decade. They have also pledged most of their fortune to helping those in need.
- Stephen Curry: Golden State Warriors star Stephen Curry already has an NBA championship in his trophy case, and he’ll be looking to make it two in a row over the next couple of months.
- Eli Broad: The KB Home (NYSE:KBH) boss has played a role in helping people live comfortably with their own homes.
- Kathleen Kennedy: Being at the helm of Lucasfilm has cemented Kennedy’s role as one of the true giants of cinema on the business end of things.
- Wang Jianlin: The executive owns the largest cinema chain in the world, as well as a Spanish football team.
- Sundar Pichai: The CEO of Google (NASDAQ:GOOG,NASDAQ:GOOGL) first made his name with the company when he ran Google Drive.
- Pope Francis: The leader of the Catholic world is the most progressive Pope the world has ever seen, and he impressed the American public during his six-day trip in the U.S.
- Dwayne Johnson: Also known as “The Rock,” the wrestler and movie star is as big on social media as he is on cinemas.
- Katie Ledecky: This athlete defies the laws of physics in the swimming pool, giving the likes of Michael Phelps a run for his money.
- Mohammed bin Nayef: The Crown Prince of Saudi Arabia played an integral role in getting rid of al-Qaeda in his homeland.
- Yuri Milner: This investor takes risks and they often pay off, helping him amass an impressive fortune.
- Binny Bansal and Sachin Bansal: These e-commerce entrepreneurs revolutionized the internet with Flipkart, which has a valuation of $13 billion.
- Tim Cook: The CEO of Apple (NASDAQ:AAPL) has helped to continue the legacy that Steve Jobs created with the company, combining artistry with excellence in technology.
