This week we need to talk about something that may not be next generation, but it is certainly once-in-a-generation, if that even. For the first time since weather records started being kept 166 years ago, two Category 4 Atlantic hurricanes hit the United States in the same year. Hurricanes can have a negative effect on the economy right after they hit, but a few months down the road, the rebuilding efforts can actually be a boost to the economy.
