Fortune 500: The Top 10 List for 2015

The Fortune 500 list for 2015 has been released. The list includes the top companies that are located in, or operate in, the United States. These companies were ranked based on their total revenue for the fiscal year ending on December 31, 2014. This is the 61st list of the top 500 countries that the magazine has released.

  1. Walmart (WMT) — Walmart keeps its same spot on the list from last year.
  2. Exxon Mobil (XOM) — 2014 also saw Exxon ranked second.
  3. Chevron (CVX) — Chevron held the third spot on the list in 2014 as well.
  4. Berkshire Hathaway (BRK.A,BRK.B) — Berkshire Hathaway hasn’t changed rank since last year.
  5. Apple (AAPL) — Apple continues to hold fifth place on the list again.
  6. General Motors (GM) — General Motors has moved up one spot from 2014.
  7. Phillips 66 (PSX) — Phillips 66 fell one rank from last year.
  8. General Electric (GE) — General Electric moved up one spot this year.
  9. Ford Motors (F) — Ford lost one position compared to 2014.
  10. CVS Health (CVS) — CVS moved up from rank 12 in 2014 to land in the top 10 this year.
