With diseases like diabetes and even Ebola affecting more and more of the population, pharmaceutical companies are racing to find cures – further  advancing medicine and driving their stock prices up. Corporations like Pfizer (NYSE:PFE) and Gilead Sciences (NASDAQ:GILD) are leading the charge against disease but smaller companies such as Myland (NASDAQ:MYL) are interesting investments as well.
