Tinder, a dating app that is looking to become something more, has added a new feature that allows users to share photos.

The new photo feature added to Tinder is called “Moments.” Moments allows users to share pictures from their life with other users of the app. The image is only shared with users on the person’s match list and will only be available for viewing for 24 hours. It’s kind of like an extended Snapchat, reports TechCrunch.

Moments is desinged to help bring people together based off of shared life activities. If a user likes another Tinder member’s photo, they can let the person know with a simple swipe to the right. Swiping the photo to the left does the opposite. The user who shared the photo will be notified of who liked it in hopes that they can build a better connection, TechCrunch notes.

“With the swipe feature, Tinder tapped into how people in their 20s want to interact,” Josh Stein, a partner at Draper Fisher Jurvetson, told Bloomberg. “Tinder might end up competing with Snapchat or Facebook.”
