Facebook (FB) has passed Walmart (WMT) on the list of largest companies by market cap.
Facebook’s market cap passed $236 billion on Monday. This was enough to bump it past Walmart, which has a market cap of $235 billion. The social media company was able to make this change to the largest companies by market cap list thanks to a 30% increase in stock over the last year, despite not being as large a company as WMT, reports Quartz.
