Today is the 16th anniversary of the Sept. 11 attacks and InvestorPlace is remembering the event with a collection of 9/11/ quotes.
The attacks that took place on September 11 resulted in the destruction of the World Trade Center and part of the Pentagon. Four planes were hijacked by members of the Islamic terrorist group al-Qaeda for these attacks. Three planes hit their targets, but the fourth attack was stopped when passengers fought back against the terrorists.
