Fasten your seat belt—Black Friday is almost here.

What everyone wants to know: What does Amazon (AMZN) have up its sleeve?

Here’s the lowdown…

Amazon has pulled back the curtain on Black Friday deals.

The good news is that you don’t have to wait until November 27 to cash in on the savings. The “Countdown to Black Friday” event is in full swing right now.

Amazon, in anticipation of the holiday season, is offering 30,000 lightning deals. The sales event runs through November 26.

The strategy is to offer good buys throughout the holiday season. This means more discounts for more people.

Better yet, less stress like this:

Amazon is banking on the idea that starting sales early will give them a bigger slice of the holiday pie.

Furthermore, actual Black Friday deals will be offered for a full week prior to November 27.

Cyber Monday will follow with a week of deep discounts, too.

Amazon Prime members get an extra perk: A 30-minute head start on bargains in front of other shoppers. They also get free two-day shipping.

Here are other deals for Amazon members:

Meanwhile, Amazon Sales Surge

The third quarter has traditionally been more sluggish for Amazon. However, Amazon sales were up 23% in Q3 to $25.4 billion, compared to $20.6 billion in the same quarter last year.

Amazon Web Services—Amazon’s cloud storage and enterprise services unit—and Amazon Prime services, contributed to a robust revenue last quarter.

Q4 net sales are anticipated to range between $33.50 billion and $36.75 billion—a growth of 14% and 25% compared to Q4 2014.

The Adobe Digital Index predicts that online sales for all industries will earn at least $2 billion this holiday season.

Amazon is poised to benefit big time.
