Largest Companies by Market Cap 2015: Facebook Topples Walmart

Facebook (FB) has passed Walmart (WMT) on the list of largest companies by market cap.

The social media company was able to make this change to the largest companies by market cap list thanks to a 30% increase in stock over the last year, despite not being as large a company as WMT, reports Quartz.

Here are the 15 largest companies by market cap, as of June 22, 2015, as listed by Dogs of the Dow.

FB shares were up 2% and WMT shares were down slightly as of Tuesday afternoon.
